Insoluble in water, alcohol, soluble in part of the alkali solution, soluble in organic acids, the formation of the corresponding organic acid zirconium, soluble in hydrochloric acid and other inorganic acids, while the release of carbon dioxide gas. Decomposed by heat, carbon dioxide is released, which can be converted to zirconium dioxide by high temperature calcination.
Application
Used in coatings, paper making, leather, cosmetics, catalysts, structural ceramics, light storage materials, automobile exhaust catalyst, paint desiccant, preparation of zirconium series compounds.
